Just keep in mind that Pristine Travel has no official connection with CCS, although it will seem that way because one of the Pristine owners usually does the Moshi orientation tour and then quickly makes the safari presentation. But there are a lot of other options available for a safari (or coffee tour), and some recent CCS volunteers have been very frustrated with a few of the services that Pristine has promised. Far better to investigate your options before signing up with Pristine or any other safari company. Caveat emptor.

The Coffee Tour is a part of the Safari package if you go through Pristine (one of the local safari companies - they'll be giving your group a presentation). My brother and I didn't go on the safari, so we just paid $35(US) to join the rest of the group that did. It was an afternoon trip: we were able to go to our placements in the morning and left right after lunch. You'll have the chance to buy coffee from them to bring home as a souvenir, it was definitely one of the coolest things we did in Tanzania :-)
