Amelia, vaccinations are v important. Why not go back and ask the nurse to give you an updated patient record card, it is your right to have one?

Hy U.K Volunteers, I thought that you might like to hear about my vaccination problems, so that you can avoid any mistakes. In essence, be aware that your GP / Practice Nurse may not be bang up to date with vaccinations. For instance, you can hav...

Its totally different to the UK, you will see how all the people are so kind, gentle and well mannered. Even at the prison i worked in the kids were all well mannered. You wont know your assignment yet will you? Is this your first CCS?

Oh I am fine. Badly bruised but healing up nicely. I was turning the curve that goes straight into my apartment complex and a cat ran out in front of me....I swerved to avoid it and hit a car parked on the opposite side of the street! It's a tight turn nonetheless, but apparently, according to the police officer, one is supposed to 'stay on your path' and hit the animal. I'm blessed to have walked away okay...both airbags deployed, etc. and the cat didn't get hit! :) I like your outlook on it all...and believe the same things.

I am getting quite anxious for my departure!!! I know I'll be excited after all the travel there (at least once I get to Bangkok), but since I can't usually sleep on planes I'm just praying I can get a little sleep in!

Really look forward to meeting you and starting our work!!!!

Best,
Erin

Hi there....so kind of you to remember...took the test last Saturday and it was pretty hard!!! I get the results 10 days post-test, so may or may not know before I leave Wednesday! Got in a bad wreck on my way home and totaled my car...let's hope that's not a sign of some sort!!

Hi Trevor,

Yes, I am getting both excited and nervous! I've sent you a couple emails...did you get them? I contacted some of the previous volunteers at the school and got a response from one - Kerry Martin. I cc'd you on it...wondering if you got it? She provided some great feedback/tips! She happened to be the very first volunteer at that school!

I look forward to meeting you and working with you as well! Let me know if there is a different email address to which I could send you the emails if you didn't receive them (I used the one on all the group correspondence).

See you in a few days (wow!!!),
Erin
