- About me:
- I'm a mother of four children ages 20 through 36 and the grandmother to four beautiful grandsons ages 5 months to 7 years. I am currently taking time off of work and trying to figure out what I really want to be when I grow up. My husband and I enjoy travel and recently returned from a two week trip to Norway. We've visited Ireland, Mexico City, South Africa, France, Hawaii and several National Parks in the USA. I am an avid movie fan and enjoy seeing independent films. My husband and I kayak, cross country ski and snowshoe. We are looking forward to retirement and recently bought a condominium in an historic home on the water in Portsmouth, NH. We will be moving there in a year or so.
Besides raising my four children, I have worked in various human service positions from teaching parenting in a women's prison, working in a women's health clinic, creating a home visiting program for new moms, and teaching parenting skills to parents who have been involved with the courts. I want to continue learning and to live my life making a difference in the lives of others.
