- Hi my name is Kirsten Sandstrom and I'm 19 years old. I live in Orinda, California and just signed up to travel to Ghana June 20, 2009! I am so excited! I hopefully will be working with kids, doing something with education. I went to Sonoma State last year but now am at the Community College trying to transfer to Berkeley.

I am going on June 20th as well! I plan to volunteer in with people with disabilities or in a special education classroom. I'm sure we will end up volunteering or eating with our hands together sometime throughout the trip!

I'll be headed to Ghana on July 9th and will be there for 5 weeks! I'm sure our paths will cross at some point. What are you planning on doing over there? Do you know where you will be based??
I am hoping to go to Ghana on May 30, 2009. I will be there for 5 weeks, hopefully we would have a chance to meet!!
