As for my travel. I leave Sept 26th.. Depart from LAX at 6:30 in the morning-I'll be pulling an over nighter. Then I arrive at JFK at 1 something. Then to Cape Town. I should arrive around 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

I am so excited!!

I'm flying out of JFK on the 25th. I have a 12 hour layover in London (I'm going to try to see some of what London has to offer, but I'll have to move in fast forward)...then straight to Cape Town. I arrive in CT around 9am on the 27th (enough time to recover from jet lag, I figured!) You?

Have you ever done a flight this long before? I did 24 hours to Australia and I have to say...it was pretty awesome. I dreaded it beforehand, but ended up loving having a whole day to watch movies, sleep, and have ice cream hand delivered to me every few hours :-)

I know what you mean-- the details can get pretty stressful, but you're right-- this is an awesome thing we're doing and all those details will seem like nothing once we're there!
