Hi Emma,
I'm interested in volunteering this summer with CCS (specifically in Tanzania if possible). My parents have expressed some concern about the program, especially since they had not previously heard of CCS. They looked at its website and were impressed but were still concerned by the lack of an application, or 'filtering', process. They mentioned that there seemed to be no control over the type of people that were going. (I am 19 and would be going on the standard CCS program - either Intern Abroad or Volunteer Abroad).
Could you offer any advice on how to address my parents' concerns? Is there anyone in Toronto who they could speak to. My father has expressed interest in speaking to an alumnus. Thanks for your help. Sincerely, Jacob Shiff

Hi Emma!!
You volunteered in Ghana!? That's so exciting! I can't wait to go!!
I have sooo many questions about Ghana! I also have a question about staffing in general: how did you become staff? Like, did you volunteer first? (not that i want to because I'm still in High school :) but I'm just curious!)

I love that you have set up a group especially for Canadian volunteers - I wish I was from Canada so could join - lol
