I am retired and going to Dharamsala in September. I love to travel and was in India in April 2007 - loved it so much I decided to return only this time as a volunteer. In retirement I travel and take courses on history and religion - mainly Asian. I am divorced and have one daughter who is a senior in college.

I chose that for various reasons, one being that it will be only a few hours from the Taj Mahal and I have always wanted to go there. I am hoping to hook up with some other volunteers to be able to do that. Best of luck in your assignment.
