Would like to volunteer in Guatemala during the month of July, 2010. What is the weather during that time? How safe is Guatemala? I speak Spanish, any suggestions as to which program could be more suitable for me and the people that I will serve?

- About me:
- I am widow, was born in Cuba, Left my country in 1961, and lived in Chicago area, until 1993 went moved to Arizona.
In the past I have done volunteer work in my communities, and have traveledto many parts of the world. So would like to combined both experiences by doing Volnteer Travel next year.
Because I speak Spanish , would like to volunteer in Guatemala. Thinking to go in July, but not sure of the weather during that month.
Does any one can help me with this question in regard to weather. Thankk you
