- We watched invisible children in my lit class two years ago..I immediately was pulled into Africa and it's culture. I knew then that I wanted to volunteer in Africa. I found this group and Cape Town seemed really interesting from what I knew about it..I'm only 18 right now so my family and friends just think I'm crazy, but oh well! Only thing I don't like is that I'll be the baby of the group being so young..everyone I've talked to is in there twenties..I know being only 18 comes with a prior thought of immaturity so I reallllly hope the people doing this wont judge me based only on that
