STA travel
My Wife & I have an annual travel insurance with Halifax. It's worldwide, excluding USA, for £148:00.
Suits us, as we do a fair bit of traveling.

I would like to know what UK based companies people have been getting their travel insurance from.
I know the C-CS policy covers medical, but not money and passports etc.

I hope everything is going great! Unfortunately:(( I was not able to come up with my financials to make the trip in dec:( I was so sad the day I actually realized it wasn't going to happen this dec. I even learned some (not much) spanish! Anyway I am going next Sept when I graduate from grad school and by then I will most definitely have my costs covered! I'm sorry you are going without knowing anyone there but I'm sure you will meet some people you like. I would also love to see some pics and hear some stories about your trip! I wish you the best of luck out there and I'm planning on going in Sept 2010 so if you want come along! Do you have facebook in the United Kingdom? Wow, you've been to more places in the US than I have and I've lived here my whole life. Hhaha thats awesome! I actually heard about the importance of spanish also, so as of now I don't know one word in spanish but one of my friends has the Rosetta Stone set and he is going to give it to me so hopefully (no promises) I will learn a little spanish. I would love if you could send me those e-mails from that woman, she seems like a very good connection to have out there. I need to buy my ticket ASAP it sucks to be a broke student. You say that the tickets are very expensive on Dec 12th, I may have to get mine for the day prior also. Anyway keep in touch I'll let you know when I get my ticket and if I'm getting anywhere with spanish:)
