Adelicia Yeo replied to Amy's discussion 'Things to do/see' in the group Ayacucho
Hi Amelia, I was in Ayacucho a few months ago. There were members from our group who would go for a run - some early in the a.m. before breakfast, but most in the afternoons once we were back. The morning runners did get chased a bit by the dogs, ...

Thanks Julie! She was just sitting quietly alone on the main road of an artisan village we toured and captured my attention. Looks like you're off on your own adventure in a few days... good luck and enjoy!

I don't remember - but it also depends on what the other volunteers are doing. Usually it takes a group of them to make the expense worth it. You're going soon right?

Hi! sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you! What specific things do you want to know? I went on the llama trek overnight with other volunteers and that was beautiful. But I hear going to the jungle is great too. I did a trip to Cusco and Machu Pichu too with was incredible! But Ayacucho is a wonderful town but start learning spanish if you don't know it - every bit helps!
