Is anybody going anytime around June/July this summer?

Just like anywhere else, you can easily find things to do if you look for them. On the weekends you can visit the rainforest, Pacific, San Jose, etc. Each week you'll take one field trip (to places like the hot springs, volcano, waterfall, horseback riding). When I was in San Carlos last summer, I taught English to some teachers at a local college and voice-recorded some tapes in English at a recording studio. I also took some dance lessons and spent a lot of time walking around San Carlos, enjoying the nice weather. The school I volunteered at had a cultural festival and one day we took a trip to the local zoo. San Carlos is a bit more low key than some of the larger cities, but it's definitely enjoyable.
