hello everyone, im alex i start this sunday and i am still wondering about travel on weekends, does anyone know any great crafts that you can only get in america that wold be great there? can anyone tell me if the IVC card is useful or the isic card? thank you all.

Hi, Kristen - unfortunately, I don't remember which women went home from the women's hospital. To Angela - so happy for you that you're going to visit that magical place! Right now I'm trying to get a job in Moscow so I can move to Russia full time. I love it there!!

I visited Yaroslavl at the end of November 2008, and can't wait until I can go back again! It was such an awesome experience and I highly recommend it to everyone considering volunteering abroad.

Only 2 weeks to go before our placement in Russia begins! Any words of advice about activities/crafts that were successful at the camp? Did anyone travel on the weekends, and what was your experience?

Hey! I was in Russia in August 2008. The women's hospital was my favorite place. Eve, can you say which woman may be going home?

I'm planning on going to Russia in March and am so excited, especially after reading everyone's posts! Unfortunately, I have to raise all the money to go myself. Does anyone have any brilliant ideas to raise funds or connections to people/businesses that could sponsor me? Thanks for your help, in advance!

I am going to Russia Dec 7th! I am so excited! This will be my 3 trip of the sort. I am currently learning the language, let's just pray I don't give up....the deeper i get the more I want to pull my hair out at times! But I love the language nonetheless :)

Has anyone gone in the winter? Please give me any stories or experiences! For some reason I'm looking forward to Russia the most!
