Would anyone want to join me in organic farming in spain? My time in Morocco ends on November 21 and I'm planning to WWOOF in Spain afterwards for a few weeks. If you don't know about WWOOF, here's the website: http://www.wwoof.org/index.asp. But basically, you become a member, look at the host lists of organic farms, and decide where you want to go. WWOOFing is free, as you volunteer in exchange for food and somewhere to stay. Flights from Casablanca to larger cities in Spain are fairly cheap (around $150). So, if anyone is leaving on November 21st or one of the dates close to that, we should WWOOF together!

Julia,
I'm going to Morocco starting August 29 and I'll be there for 12 weeks, so we'll be there together for a while! I would love to talk to you too!

Don't hate me for posting this but:

Dambisa Moyo is the author of "Dead Aid: Why Aid is Not Working and How There is a Better Way For Africa" which became a New York Times bestseller.

In May 2009 TIME magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

She argues against Government aid to Africa and for more innovative ways to finance development. These include reducing trade barriers and protectionism, trade with China, accessing the capital markets, and microfinance.

Hello all! I did the CCS program in Lima, Peru and would like to do the Morocco program next year in May. I was wondering if they provided a field trip to Casablanca, or other nearby cities. I would also definitely like to go to southern Spain, most likely Sevilla, so if anybody else is down let me know. I'll be asking again next year.

I will be there from July 11th as well for the 1 week Insight Abroad program...I can't wait. I've visited Morocco before and I loved it. I don't know what to expect out of my volunteer experience but I'm looking forward to it.

Hi! I'm going to Morocco for 3 weeks starting May 16th. I was wondering if anyone has had experience volunteering in an orphanage there?

I am considering Morocco for about 3 weeks starthing June 27th, but as most people are I'm having a hard time deciding. If I do go with Rabat I also wanted to travel into Spain and Portugal after the program...was wondering if anyone was up for that?

Hi Emily, I worked with street children at the Ibny school last November and it was a very rewarding experience. Ages range from 4 to 9 years and it is a challenge, but the school is supportive and will appreciate your contribution. See also my previous comment on February 8. Enjoy your stay you will love it and the memories will stay with you for ever.
