Hey Elizabeth! I went on the Lima program this Feb. It was great! I suggest you go a few hours before lunch so that you aren't completely sorrounded by other tourists...

Hi Mike. No, the house is in the Surco area of Lima. Villa (where most placements are located) is about a 30 minute ride from the home base. Have fun!

Question for former Lima volunteers.. Is the CCS Volunteer house located in Villa El Salvador? If not how far is the ride to the volunteer locations?

I'm interested in working in the school and helping to teach the children.

Isabel! I participated in the Lima program this Febraury. It was so awesome!!! I volunteered at Los Martincitos too. It was so rewarding, because I felt like I could really make a difference in the people's lives. How long were you there for? I was there for only one week, but it was still great.

I just wanted to say that I participated in the Lima program last October and it was a wonderful and amazing experience. I volunteered at Los Martincitos and fell in love with everyone there. The city is quite modern so you will find lots to do. Have fun!

Brianna, Mach Picchu is amazing!!! Defintely a once in a lifetime moment. Don't be nervous! Everyone is so cheerful and kind, and volunteering made me feel great for helping others in need. Good luck! Eleanor
