Hey everyone, I was in Ghana for 2 months this past summer and am wondering if anyone has since volunteered at Divine Star School?? I really miss my kids and am wondering how they are doing so if you could please please email me back I would really appreciate it! I'd also be happy to answer anyone's questions who has been placed at divine star but hasn't gone yet!

Hi everybody, I just joined this discussion group... still trying to figure out how everything works. I am going to Ghana for 3 weeks starting March 6th, is anybody else going around that time? I would love to meet people who are!

Did you volunteer in Ghana anytime between 2000 - 2008? If you happened to purchase a painting from a local artist named Isaac Gavor, please email him at: isaacgavor@yahoo.com. He is compiling a formal record of his art and is asking former CCS volunteers if they may have any of his paintings. Thank you.

hey loves. i'm currently in my 8th week here. i just wanted to give a heads up to those coming in this weekend to NOT waste your time, money, or space in your suitcase on sunscreen and insect repellent. we have (in large quantities) SPF 90+ to SPF 30, and with bug spray we have everything from Permethrine and 100%Deet to hippie all natural spray. we're all excited to get you new folks in.
placement time is pretty short but that doesn't mean that you can't go back after lunch or go early in the morning, especially for places that are a walkable distance.

Hi Guys, Im not going to be able to make the call tonight. Would you all be able to let me know any important info that you find out ? Was anybody else surprised that we only work for 3 hours a day? I thought that we would be there for 5/6 hours each day. 9 Days to go!!! x
