It's official: I'll be in Dharamsala (or Palampur perhaps?) from May 29th to July 31st. Any other volunteers yet?

Palampur is awesome - just got back this week. If you're going in the late summer bring rain gear... sunscreen and bug spray are definitely necessities and also some less scandalous western clothing is good to have.

Hey! I'll be in Palampur for those three weeks. I'm very excited, but I haven't spoken to anyone who's done the program before, so I really don't know what to expect. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone preparing to go to India?

Hello everyone! I'm volunteering in Dharamsala for 5 weeks beginning August 15th. Anyone else going to be there at that time? I'm so excited to contribute while experiencing the culture and look forward to meeting my fellow volunteers.

For the experienced colunteers, would it be wise to invest in a pair of wellies for this time of year?
