Meet a Fundraising Volunteer: Leota Tucker, Volunteer in Peru & Russia
What was your placement type?
I had a placement working with elderly in Peru. In Russia it was different, we didn’t go to the same place every day. So for the week, I went to six different placements. I went to a children’s hospital, an orphanage, a women’s hospital, a children’s afterschool program, etc. It was really nice to know that I wouldn’t have the same experience every day.

Message for Leota Tucker: Your experience is very encouraging! But are the funds you raised as a volunteer credited to your own personal account? Or did it go to the treasury of the CCS? I really would like to do "volunteer-work or be in a paid-staff position at the CCS" because of their vision, mission and core values that are very similar to my life's aspirations and goals, but I still would have to raise funds for my enrollment. I would veru much appreciate your help and referrals, if possible? I wish to leave something behind for people to remember me- as something good that passed their way and not as something bad that stayed! Wish to correspond with you, if it's ok!?
