How do you get a sponser?

I was wondering if anyone that has volunteered overseas has been able to do so becasue a sponser provided the funds. If so how did you go about getting a sponser?

Permalink Reply by Elizabeth Mendoza on October 30, 2009 at 2:05pm: Hi! I volunteered in Cartago, Costa Rica over the summer and I actually fundraised for my program fee. Although, I did not recieve one specific sponsor I did recieve donations from friends and family and I had a fundraising party that was very successful. During my research for funds I found that there are many scholarships and grants for volunteer trips such as the Travelocity and school funds. Check the CCS website for fundraising tips and other grants and scholarships.
