going to ayacucho peru in 2/09, any one have comments?

Hello.

I'll also be going to Ayacucho Peru in February 2009 for insight abroad. This will be my first trip outside of the USA and look forward to it. I'd also love to hear from anyone who is going or has gone to Ayacucho to volounteer.

I've been studying spanish for the past 3 months and look forward to putting my language skills to use.

Question for those going to Ayacucho in Feb 2009.

Has anyone booked their international flights yet? On 2/21 the domestic flight returns at about 8am but The earliest domestic flight I can find leaves at 11:50pm (going to Miami).

I'm just curious if anyone has been able to find an earlier flight.

I've been to Ayacucho twice. I love it. what will you be doing? I worked in the prison with the women. Staff at CCS there is wonderful.

Hi there, I am going on Feb 14, 09. I have traveled quite a bit but not to South America. Should be interesting! I have also been studying spanish. Maybe we could TRY to talk a bit? However, I did hear that their first language is Quencha (sp)? ANyway, quisiera hablar con usted pronto! Jacci
