CCS Community

During the week, a typical day consists of volunteer work, Cultural & Learning Activities, and free time. You will be volunteering in the morning for approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on the needs of your specific placement.

Our in-country staff will have Cultural & Learning Activities planned for the afternoon. These activities include tours of the city, field trips to museums and historical sites, guest speakers, language tutoring, or even cooking lessons or dance classes.

Your evenings will be free time. In your free time you can explore the community, prepare activities for your volunteer placement the next day, or just relax at the Home-Base.

Find out more about a typical day in a CCS program. If you would like to discuss a typical day with a recent volunteer, feel free to contact a CCS staff member for alumni references or join a Group in the CCS Community!
